Certificates for SOLE

Why not earn the credit you need while you teach? We've forged partnerships to provide ongoing education certification for StartSOLE users. You'll earn credit towards a certificate for planning and completing SOLEs, and you can monitor your progress towards your next certificate on our website and app. No extra work on your part, signed PDFs are emailed directly to you as soon as they are earned.

In Pennsylvania, this means you'll earn Act 48 credit, which is why we now request your teacher registration number. For other users outside Pennslyvania you'll receive CEUs (Continuing Education Units) from Cleveland State University, and the registration number is optional.

What's a CEU?

A CEU is a unit of credit equal to ten hours of participation in an accredited program designed for professionals with certificates or licenses to practice various professions. For teachers in Ohio (and many other states), CEUs are required to maintain your teaching license.

How do I earn them?

Our research has shown that the SOLE process becomes truly transformative after 3 sessions in a classroom, so we designed our program to incentivize completing your first three SOLEs. Thanks to the generous support of the STEMM Education Center at Cleveland State University, we are able to offer CEUs without any extra work on the part of the teacher! We offer credit for all the interactions users take with our community, designed to help you earn a free CEU for every 3 SOLEs you complete.
